The Titanic was a doomed transaltlantic ship of the British White Sater Line. Constructed in 1907, she was designed by Thomas Andrews and was the largest and most luxurious vessel at the time. She sunk after striking an iceberg on April 14, 1912 during her maiden voyage near the coast of Newfoundland.
